Bear with me today… My post is a bit of a long-winded stream of consciousness, but I promise, there’s a point.

I’m back at work from two and a half weeks of vacation, and I’m already exhausted. Have you ever heard the words, “I need a vacation from my vacation”? Hardy Har-Har… Corny, I know, but basically the way I’m feeling these days. I don’t do a lot of vegging during my time off. Life is so busy that it feels like a waste to use vacation for sitting around, catching up on sleep, doing nothing. Instead, there are usually trips (even short ones) and a fair amount of activity.
