Thank you so much for sharing, Noha. There is so much ALIVENESS I feel in this post, in your description of Cairo. So much life in the cafes, but nothing is quiet. It makes me wonder, should anything be quiet? Are we not here to make noise?? Food for thought (a medicine for a medicine!). May you continue the enjoyment and the exhales, the breezes, the aliveness. I'm so grateful and glad to witness you in this place!
In theory, I would LOVE to be LOVED with food. As the primary (nearly only) person in my household who planned, prepped, and prepared meals, I have such appreciation for being fed. The noise, on the other hand, would do me in!
Loved the photo dump - that flower water sink/fountain thing! 😍
Forget India, I wanna go to Egypt first lol. Seriously though, it’s probably more likely that I’d visit Cairo than anywhere in India right now. Love how Cairo is still overwhelming you in all these beautiful ways!
Food is my love language . Eat your fill! Does this mean no cooking for you?! Enjoy!
No cooking, Marc. Just lots and lots of eating! I messaged my sisters at the 10-day mark and said ‘help! I’m getting fat!’ 😂😂😂
Thanks Noha. I love this vicarious touring I'm doing through your words and pictures.
Awww I'm so glad. Thanks Ted.
Love this!
To be loved by food, is to be loved the most. Thank you for these photos!
💯agree. And so do my tightening pants 😂😂
Wow!
Lovely to see your pictures!
Thanks, Mary.
I'm glad this trip has you and yours drenched in love, Noha. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thanks Diana... I feel so fortunate and also a bit verklempt... my words have all escaped me.

Thanks Mikhal!
What a wonderful update. The best I could imagine!

Gotta catch up on your adventures too, Natalie! Are you still in Beirut?
Aw, thank you! Not at the moment💓 we’ll see what the future holds 😌

"The roads, the lights, the cars and their honking horns. People. The thrum of humanity." That sounds like the city I remember! Great photos, too.

Love the photos Noha. Glad you have time in the motherland. How are your kids taking it in? And have they been there before?
Beautiful. I hope to make it there someday.
